TINTAMARRE

L'Îlet Tintamarre, un havre de tranquillité au milieu de l'océan, se trouve à 4 km au nord-est de Saint-Martin. Cette île de près de 100 hectares fait partie de la Réserve Naturelle. Dépourvu de présence humaine, elle révèle des vestiges intrigants tels qu'un ancien aérodrome, une petite ligne de chemin de fer et une ferme de coton. La plage principale, Baie Blanche à l'ouest, offre une baignade facile face à Saint-Martin. Une seconde plage, plus sauvage et abritant une variété de poissons, se trouve à l'est, accessible après une courte marche depuis le point d'accostage en bateau.

Îlet Tintamarre, a haven of tranquility in the middle of the ocean, lies 4 km northeast of Saint-Martin. This island of almost 100 hectares is part of the Nature Reserve. Devoid of human presence, it reveals intriguing relics such as an old airfield, a small railway line and a cotton farm. The main beach, Baie Blanche to the west, offers easy bathing facing Saint-Martin. A second, wilder beach, home to a variety of fish, lies to the east, accessible after a short walk from the boat landing point.

La isla Tintamarre, un remanso de tranquilidad en medio del océano, se encuentra a 4 km al noreste de Saint-Martin. Esta isla de casi 100 hectáreas forma parte de la Reserva Natural. Desprovista de presencia humana, revela curiosos vestigios como un antiguo aeródromo, una pequeña línea de ferrocarril y una granja de algodón. La playa principal, Baie Blanche al oeste, ofrece un baño fácil frente a Saint-Martin. Una segunda playa, más salvaje y con gran variedad de peces, se encuentra al este, accesible tras un corto paseo desde el embarcadero.
