The Prefecture of Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin has published the list of the eight candidates for the first round of the legislative elections to the National Assembly. The campaign, officially launched, will be a short one, with the first round scheduled for June 29 and the second for July 6. Candidates include Alexandra Questel, president of the Saint-Barthélemy Tourist Office; Hervé Meunier, casino manager; Lila Krimi, unlabeled; Philippe Philidor, opposition territorial councillor; Clément Chapdelaine, of the "Reconquête" party; Diane Felix, under the "Pour une humanité souveraine" label; Ricardo Bethel, communications manager at the Saint-Martin Tourist Office; and outgoing deputy Frantz Gumbs, of the "Modem" party.
